B. Segun founded CertifyMed to solve a problem encountered firsthand: state agencies and provider organizations managing critical long-term care compliance obligations through paper binders, spreadsheets, and disconnected systems while participant outcomes bore the cost.
With a background spanning healthcare technology product leadership and federal Medicaid policy, Segun spent years working alongside state waiver program offices, managed care plans, and provider networks before channeling that experience into a platform built specifically for the LTSS continuum, spanning HCBS, institutional, and ICF/IID care.
CertifyMed reflects a core conviction: compliance infrastructure should not just reduce regulatory risk, it should actively enable better care for the individuals long-term care programs exist to serve.
